Jon Capper FCLA - Director

For over 40 years, Jon has been a respected industry leader in the provision of loss adjusting services in major Commercial and ISR matters, Business Interruption and Liability Claims.

Jon established Pacific Claims in 1995, growing and evolving the business to continue to meet the unique demands of the insurance industry across Australia and overseas. 

Pacific Claims is agile, with a range of specialist skills deployed when an immediate response is required.  This includes the recent Australian flood and cyclone events, New Zealand earthquakes, and the Thai floods.

Jon is a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Chartered Loss Adjusters and the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance. 

David Findlay – General Manager

David brings expanded knowledge and proficiency in Operational & Claims Management across General, Life and Statutory Insurance classes. He has accumulated over 40 years experience gained locally and drawn from key advisory roles for underwriters and liquidators in a variety of overseas settings.  

Immediately prior to joining Pacific Claims, David’s skills were notable in Claims Advocacy for several prominent Insurance Brokers on behalf of their clients.

David has oversight of the operations of Pacific Claims, supported by a team that is responsive to emerging events and committed to our core values.  David maintains strong client relationships built on trust and respect.

David is a qualified Senior Associate of the Australian & New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance.

Tim Capper – Manager and Senior Loss Adjuster

Tim has a combined experience as a loss adjuster of over 10 years starting in the motor, machinery and earth moving. In that timeframe he also achieved a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

His role for the past seven years has focused on both domestic and commercial, large and complex property loss, strata, as well as catastrophe management for events across the country including cyclone, hail, flood, fire and earthquake. 

Pacific Claims is a family business that has stood the test of time. Tim leads the technical team, investing in the future with specialist skillsets, systems and processes that deliver outcomes efficiently and effectively for our industry partners.

Tim believes strongly in the development of the future of Pacific Claims, investing his time with our team to ensure their shared success.
